We are the first organized ski club in the greater Rochester, New York area. The club was founded in 1936. The Rochester Ski Club has over 200+ members. We run a variety of multiple-day and single-day ski trips as well as hosting a number of social events.  Upcoming Social Events

Jo Newkirk joined the RSC in the 1970s when she began skiing while in her 40s. She recalled that a friend told her that she had to learn to ski, loaned her skis and lace-up boots (‘that’s how long ago it was’ joked Jo). The first time she fell but persisted with a tad of persuasion from her friend.
